Deep fakes use generative AI to create images or other media that is highly realistic and appears to represent a real situation. They can be useful, for example, in a museum to show a historical scene re-enacted. Hiweve there are deep ethical concerns when they use images of real people without theor consent, or are used for politcal propoganda.
